It‘s that time of year again. Stony Brook Go Club presents the 2024 Sakura Matsuri tournament!
The tournament will be taking place in the Charles B. Wang Center (Room TBA!) in Stony Brook University on Sunday, April 21st from 10:30AM to 6:00PM. Check-in starts at 9:30AM.
And as always, no entrance fee! The tournament will be an AGA-rated tournament, with 4 rounds, split into 3 division, from the dan level to the low kyu level.
There will be a variety of prizes for winners in each division. Food will be served: Breakfast at 10AM and Lunch at 1:30PM.
During the tournament, there will be a Japanese Cultural Sakura Matsuri Festival, so this is a perfect opportunity for a family outing while you play Go!

Greater DC Metro‘s alumni from Peking University and Tsinghua University will play a 2-round tournament in the National Go Center. Alumni are welcome to play and everyone is welcome to meet&greet.

The American Collegiate Go Association (ACGA) and the Association of Chinese Americans are thrilled to co-host the 2024 Michigan Go Championship. The one-day five round event is on Saturday, April 27, 2024, in Madison Heights, Michigan. The event is open to all players, both college students and non-college students alike. All games are AGA-rated.
