SmartGo One 1.7 has rolled out a versatile multi-select functionality, enhancing user experience across My Files, Pro Games, and Problems.
This new feature simplifies the process of marking, copying, and deleting multiple files and games. Available on both iOS and Mac platforms, users on iOS can initiate selection through a two-finger swipe down a list, while Mac users can employ the standard Shift and Command key modifiers.
In the flurry of recent updates since August, SmartGo One has undergone significant improvements. Among the highlights are: Display of favorite games directly in the list; Enhanced zoom capabilities for a clearer display of stones; Sorting options by file type (folder, game collection, etc); Substantial refinement in sorting by komi; Enhanced move visibility with the addition of markers for good or bad moves
Also, reports Anders Kierulf, “there was some brief excitement when Apple by mistake removed SmartGo One from the App Store.”
A new addition, Trouble Master by Inseong Hwang, has made its debut in SmartGo One and Go Books. This innovative problem book presents 20 full-board positions where strategic play yields gains across multiple areas of the board. Similar to real games, the book refrains from explicitly pointing out trouble spots, allowing users to identify and strategize independently.
