Chicago Rapid Championship set for Nov. 4

The Evanston Go Club will host the 2023 Chicago Rapid Championship on Saturday,
Nov. 4. The one-day, five-round tournament will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Evanston, IL. “Go lovers can look forward to a robust turnout and an unforgettable experience,” say organizers, who note that the 2023 Chicago Open in May attracted 109 competitors, including traveling players from over 15 states. Cash prizes will be awarded for divisions 12 kyu and higher, along with trophies, plaques, or medals for all divisions.
