AUG 19: 2023 College Station Summer One-Day Go Tournament
Join us for the College Station Summer One-Day Go Tournament! Located in College Station, Texas, in the heart of the "Texas Triangle" between Houston, Austin, and Dallas! The tournament will be four rounds, 19x19 standard boards, AGA rated*, with both an Open Division and a Handicap Division for Kyu players. First round starts promptly at 10am, and the last round ending around 7pm to give you time to drive home if needed! *AGA membership is required for this tournament! If you're new to AGA, welcome! 4-round AGA-rated tournament. Lunch included. $50 (free for SF Go Club members) register at sfgo.club/tournaments
AUG 26: 6th Annual / 2023 Cincy Tri-state Go Tournament
4 rounds; Even game for open division, -1 handicap for other divisions Awards: Trophies, medals, and souvenirs Youth and adults will have separate awards Divisions: (Subject to change based on number of players) A, Open division, AGA 1D and above B, AGA 1K to 9k C, AGA/KGS 10K to 16K D, AGA/KGS 17K to 30K For beginners: Mini-game 11AM to 2PM, no registration fee required, lecture will be provided
SEP 2-3: Go New England Open 2023
The Second New England Open will be taking place over Labor Day weekend, Saturday Sept 2 through Sunday Sept 3, 2023. This event is supported by the new AGA "catchment" area initiative, and all 6 New England states are pooling our catchment funds to provide this special 2-day tournament. Location: Westford Regency Inn & Conference Center 219 Littleton Road Westford, MA Hotel booking: If you are staying at the Westford, mention "Go New England Open" for a special $159 rate. Only valid through Aug. 1 - act fast! Registration Fee: $50. (Paypal or Venmo: gotrevor@gmail.com) DDK (Double Digit Kyu) Registration Fee: $30 Advance registration required.
