Han Han one game from ’23 Masters repeat

Five-dan professional Han Han notched his fifth and sixth wins in the Masters
tournament Friday at the US Go Congress, defeating Shengda Tan 6d in the morning round and Eric Lui 2P in the evening. That gives the Chinese professional thirteen straight Masters wins, seven last year and six this year. With just one round left to play Saturday morning, Han Han’s undefeated run gives him a near lock on a second consecutive Masters, although Alan Huang 7d could be in contention, depending on how Saturday’s round goes.
