People attending the US Go Congress can now sign up for dorm housing on the Congress website. You must first register separately before signing up for housing (a different process than in previous years.) "We have various types of rooms available in different residential buildings throughout the Kent State campus,” said Congress Liaison Eric Wainwright, "from economy rooms with shared bath pods, to individual rooms in a quad living space & shared bath, to hotel-style rooms with private baths. We also have a good allotment of ADA rooms, so please ask for those during sign-up.” You can view diagrams of the room layouts on the Housing page.
If you're planning to stay offsite, the team is also busily securing blocks of rooms in nearby hotels at discounted rates, but this will take a few more weeks to complete.
“As usual, the hotel-style single rooms are going fast and we may not have enough of these to fully satisfy demand,” said Wainwright.
