The E-Journal plans to stream the top three boards at the National Go Center’s 2024 Pumpkin Classic on Saturday, using
newly-acquired Izis electronic recording boards. “Last month’s trial run with one Izis board ran fairly smoothly so we’re ‘stepping up our game’ this month with two more boards,” said EJ Managing Editor Chris Garlock., who’s working with EJ Associate Producer Todd Heidenreich. “We should also be able to provide video feeds showing the players,” Garlock added. The stream should go live by 9:30a ET on the AGA's YouTube channel.
The EJ hopes to continue testing of expanded streaming capacity in the months to come, including innovative coverage and commentary. Anyone interested in joining the team should email journal@usgo.org
