Registration is now open for the 23rd World Students Go Oza Championship North America Qualifier.
The winner of the qualifier will be invited to Tokyo, Japan to compete as the representative of North America in the 23rd World Students Go Oza Championship between February 10-13, 2025. The organizers will cover the local transportation expenses, lodging, breakfast and lunch meals, and 50% of the airfare.
Any full-time undergraduate student (including foreign national students) under the age of 30 who is studying in the US or Canada, excluding professional players, is eligible to register. The qualifier will take place online on the KGS Go Server with the first two rounds on November 2nd and the final round on November 9th. The World Students Go Oza Championship started in 2003 and is a great opportunity to compete against the top student players from around the world.
