The 2025 US Go Congress will return to Texas from July 12th - 20th, 2025, reports the Austin Go
Club and the AGA. It will be held at Southwestern University in Georgetown, just north of Austin, one of the fastest growing cities in America. Georgetown itself is a small college town with a friendly atmosphere and a quaint downtown.
“Southwestern will be a great venue with spacious playing areas, plenty of affordable -- and air conditioned -- housing options and amenities including an indoor swimming pool, basketball court, and tennis and pickleball courts,” say co-directors Bart Jacob and Jim Conyngham. “We are excited to welcome Go players to central Texas. We are putting a team in place to make this a memorable Go Congress for players and their families. More details and registration information will be made available in early 2025. Like all things in Texas, this one is going to be BIG!”
