Maryland State Champion Michael Chen 1P defeated Virginia's Edward Zhang 5D by 30.5 points on Tuesday to claim the first US Go State Championship. Runners-up were Oregon's Steve Zhang and Colorado's Jared Nishikawa. Steve Zhang was the TD.
