Through the start of the 2024 U.S. Go Congress on July 13th, we’ll be running spotlights on several of the professionals who will be attending. Today’s featured pros are Myungwan Kim and Do Eunkyo.
Myungwan Kim, Professional 9 dan
Myungwan Kim is making a much-anticipated return to this year's Congress after missing the last two. He has a great teaching style, and is known for his insightful commentaries and lectures. Over the years, he has garnered a large base of fans and friends within the Go community.
Myungwan is now living in Hawaii and continues to teach Go at several schools, at a club, and online.
Do Eunkyo, Professional 1 dan
Korean Baduk Association
Do Eunkyo is returning to the Congress this year after attending her first in Kent, Ohio last year. Since then, she has made several trips to various Go clubs around the US. She is a popular Go teacher in Korea and the host of the "Go Inside" channel on YouTube. She now is pursuing her dream of becoming a prominent English Go teacher.
