Four American pros will compete online again this weekend, this time for the chance to represent
North America in the second Quzhou Lanke Cup World Weiqi Open Tournament, an international professional event organized by the Chinese Weiqi Association.
Ryan Li 4P will play Alexander Qi 1P in Round 1 on Saturday, March 2 at 12 noon ET; Li’s endgame misclick in the Feb. 18 N.A. Chunlan Cup qualifier cost him the match against Qi.
Mingjiu Jiang 7P will play Michael Chen 1P in Round 2 on Sunday, March 3 at 5p ET.
Both rounds will be played on OGS; watch the usgo.org site for updates. The winners will play in a final round on a date TBD.
