What Is Discord?
Discord is a multi-media platform that allows communities to collaborate via voice, text and video.
Why Should I Discord?
Are you a member of the AGA who has ideas and feedback for the community? Do you want to meet other go organizers and enthusiasts? Do you want a peek behind the scenes of AGA leadership? Well, "there's an app for that."
How Do I Discord?
1. Join the AGA Discord server at this link: https://discord.gg/jQ3rKxP2R9 (If you've already joined, you can just log into discord or open the app in the future.)
2. If you're new to Discord you will need to follow the instructions to register an account.
3. Answer a quick question about your interests
.
4. Follow the guide for the AGA server. This means reading our server rules and posting a little about yourself in the 'introductions' channel
5. If you're a Chapter Leader, select 'channels and roles' near the top of the menu.

6. Answer 'yes' to 'Are you an AGA chapter leader?' This gives you access to the chapter-leaders text and voice channels.
When Should I Discord?
You can post to the various channels at any time! A moment of inspiration in the middle of the night. A sudden question about tournaments. An idea to improve the US go community. It's almost always a good time to collab and bounce ideas around! Let's grow the sport of Go together!
