Rain and clouds returned for a second straight year, but warm smiles brightened the venue as 34
players gathered for three rounds at the second Georgia State Championship. Ryan Huang 3d (center in photo) went undefeated in the Open division to claim the state title.
Four additional sections made up the main division, with Seung Hyo Han 1k winning Section A, David Rodriguez 5k taking Section B, Alex Selby 9k topping Section C, and Michelle McKay 23k leading Section D.
Atlanta-area players were joined by visitors from Augusta, Georgia, Tennessee, and South Carolina. Organizers thanked the Bridge Club of Atlanta for hosting and Yellow Mountain Imports for generously providing tournament prizes.
