With just one month to go before the 2026 US Go Congress, registration continues to climb. Organizers report that 519 attendees have already registered, including the first evening-pass registration.
Based on current trends, organizers are now projecting a final attendance of 561 registrants, with an estimated 436 players expected to compete in the Open tournament.
The 2026 US Go Congress will take place July 25 through August 1 in Boston, Massachusetts, bringing together Go players from across North America and around the world for a week of competition, professional instruction, lectures, special events, and community activities.
If the projections hold, this year's Congress will be one of the largest Go gatherings in North America in recent years.
