The Seattle Go Center welcomed Michael Redmond 9P for a two-day workshop on May 23–24,
drawing more than 40 attendees over the course of the weekend.
Redmond 9p, known for his teaching and analysis of AI-influenced Go, gave participants a preview of material from the forthcoming fourth volume in his AlphaGo Zero book series. According to organizers, attendees greatly enjoyed the workshop and the opportunity to study with one of North America's most accomplished Go professionals.
The same weekend also provided an opportunity for Seattle Go Center staff to meet in person with Hajin Lee to discuss the upcoming North American Go Federation professional qualification tournament, which will be held at the Seattle Go Center from July 1–6.
