A beautiful move.
If at a glance you can spot this best move at 1, and see all the
ramifications, then please quit your day job and teach us go.
White 2 must prevent Black from playing at 2, which would split the
white groups and destroy White's bottom territory. But the clamp of
Black 3 exposes the inherent weakness in White's position.
With 5, Black splits White anyway and takes the entire corner.
White variation.
White might also try to defend at 2.
But Black 3 and 5 still split White.
A Black mistake.
Black 1 is a small gote endgame play. White will ignore this
atari to protect the weakness (around A) that the main line exposes.
