Correct.
Black should uncompromisingly answer White's arrogant invasion. Of course, that's easy for a pro to say.

Black 3 is the best answer. An interesting position arises after White's cut at 10 though. See the next diagram.


Continuation.
Black 11 is the correct way to handle White's cut. After 15, Black is satisfied with the outside influence, especially because White has to add another stone to the corner to live.


Black variation.
The continuaton starting with Black 11 may look good because Black has captured 5 stones. But with 20, White squeezes and scores a great success with the outside influence.


Black variation.
If Black answers timidly with 3, Black secures the corner territory with 7. However, White's connection underneath in sente means that White's trick play has succeeded.
