Registration Fees for attending the Congress
- Adult Members: $450
- Young Adult (Ages 18-22): $300
- Youth (Ages 17 and under): FREE
(Note: Additional scholarships are available from the American Go Foundation that can be applied to housing See below.)
These are Early Bird rates. The Normal rates will be $500 Adult / $350 Young Adult and Youth after May 1st. Youth must register by May 1st to claim free registration.
If you register for a Partial Week, rates are $65 Adult / $45 Youth Adult per day.

Housing Notes
1. For per-person rates, each registrant selects a housing option.
a. “Double” means 2 persons sleeping in a room, both must sign up for the same double option.
b. “Quad suite” means 4 bedrooms, each with 2 beds w/ shared living space and 2 bathrooms.
2. All rates are for 8 nights, starting July 12 through July 19, leaving Sunday morning July 20.
3. If you choose to leave early on Saturday, July 19, no refund will be given for the last night.
4. If you register for a Partial Week, the registrar will credit your balance for the unused nights.
Meals
Meal Plan for week $320 (estimated). Includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Meals can be purchased individually with credit card.
Meal Notes
1. The meal plan only applies to the Mabee dining commons in the Student Center.
(Other meal options nearby include a pub in the Student Center and
restaurants in downtown Georgetown - a 20 minute walk.)
2. For the Meal Plan, no refunds can be given for unused meals.

Scholarships
To help offset the cost for young people attending the Congress, the American Go Foundation (AGF) provides scholarship funding. This year a grant from the AGF has made Youth registration free. Two additional scholarships are available that can be applied to Congress housing.
Youth Scholarships
Youth (17 and under) who play in any of the main 2025 online events (Redmond Cup, Girls Cup, North American Kyu Championship, Young Lions, or School Team tournaments) can apply for a $200 Tournament Scholarship.
Any Youth who has played or will play in one of these tournaments may apply here. Applications will be held and approved once the applicant has participated in one of the tournaments.
College-Age Scholarships
Participants must be aged 18-26 and actively enrolled in an academic program. Graduate and undergraduate students are both eligible for a $300 scholarship. Applicants must be from the United States, Canada, or Mexico and may apply here.
Note: Scholarships will be applied as credits to your on-site housing.
