“Despite chilly weather the inaugural East Bay Go Tournament held in Berkeley, CA was a resounding success!” reports Jiaying Wei.
“We had 25 participants come from all over Northern and Central California, there was yummy breakfast, great conversations, and lots of games of Go. Nine of the players were newly registered with the AGA just to play in our tournament, and one even registered mid-tournament to save our TDs from having to take a bye!”
Jiaying adds “Also excited to say that we piloted using the AGA website's event feature for tournament registration.”
